Use of CSVExport component

I'm trying to create a CSV export file from a process chain, in this case from the Person table.  I've created a step type of ScriptComponent.CSVExport.

This takes a number of parameters - "LineDefinition", which the example helpfully says must be in "object property notation".  What is this notation, as all the standard formats I've tried just end up with blank lines?  Can anyone give an example?

Also, there's a parameter "LineScriptName", but I'm unsure of the parameters this script requires, or the exact purpose of the script.  Is it required for a simple CSV export?

Or is there a better way?
